Bogd khan palace Museum Exhibition.

The “Winter Palace,” constructed between 1893 and 1905, was the residence of the 8th reincarnated Jebtsundamba Khutuktu—later enthroned as Bogd Khan, a descendant in the line of Genghis Khan. It remains one of the few surviving examples of Mongolian palace architecture. Since 1961, the site has been open to the public as a museum, exhibiting Bogd Khan’s personal belongings, offerings, and Buddhist artworks.
The museum is the oldest in Ulaanbaatar and one of Mongolia’s most significant cultural institutions, housing approximately 8,600 objects in its collection and welcoming over 40,000 visitors annually.
Within this distinguished palace museum, we held our exhibition “The Unnoticed – Sokoni Aru Mono”. We were deeply honored to be given this rare opportunity, as our exhibition marked only the second time that foreign artists have been granted the privilege to present their work here.
