| 1cm thick is the best for the bottom of a bowl. | Draw circle line on the clay. You better spin the pottery wheel when you do it. | Cut the clay with needle along the line you drew on it. |

| Take away all clay around the circle. | Make string with those clay you took away. | Put the string on the bottom clay and push it down. It help to stick them together. |

| Put another string of clay on the other. Make sure beginning and end of the string should be stuck on the other. | Stick the clay from up to down with your fingers. | Also, stick them together from down to up. |
